Watch the heat
There is a good reason your testicles are not inside your body…know why? It’s the heat. To produce top quality sperm your testicles need to be a few degrees cooler than your body temperature. So the hotter your scrotum get’s the more trouble your testicles will have producing sperm.
Some things to avoid doing regularly are:
- Avoid taking regular very hot bathes or spas. Keep them as a relaxation treat
- Avoid regular use of saunas
- Try not to wear tight fitting underwear every day – let the boys go free every now and then
Once the scrotum has been too hot for too long sperm production goes out the window. It will start again when it cools down down there but the effects are longer lasting.
Because it takes about 70 days for sperm to be made, it may take a few months of the keeping your testicles at a normal temperature for sperm counts to improve.
